BioGienie® is our latest Hydrogen Peroxide Vaporisation (HPV) Robot; providing healthcare professionals with a highly effective means of Infection Control.
Developed and manufactured in England following consultation with our clients in hospitals and other healthcare environments across the UK, it takes the proven capability of our earlier HPV Robot to the next level. It is effective, safe, simple to use and inexpensive to own and operate.
BioGienie® uses Hyproxil Active™ to deliver a combination of Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) and Silver (Ag+). Hydrogen Peroxide is widely accepted as being very effective in the eradication of pathogens such as MRSA, C.difficile, E.coli, VRE, Norovirus and Acinetobacter. Whilst Silver is widely believed to enhance the effectiveness of the Hydrogen Peroxide, and have the added benefit of inhibiting the regrowth of pathogens and removing the need for frequent biodecontaminations.
The robot utilises ionised and nucleated dry mist technology to disperse, to all surfaces, an invisible, non toxic / non corrosive Hyproxil Active™ disinfectant fluid, with a concentration of just 6% H2O2 and Ag+ at 60ppm. This combination provides much safer operating conditions than other similar systems, enabling a fully
automated decontamination of an average sized ward in just 3 hours.
BioGienie® also provides a wide range of settings that enable users to define and store, via a colour touch screen, fully automated programmes for specific areas based on variables such as size, flow rate and whether multiple cycles are required.
Access and level of user are security controlled and a full audit trail is downloadable.
BioGienie® is light and highly manoeuvrable with a wide range of safety features built in, including auto cut-off in the unlikely event of a spillage and high visibility LEDs to indicate when the machine is operating.
BioGienie® is provided with a support package that includes deployment, certified training of end user operators and system maintenance.
