Hygienics Appoint New Operations Director
Hygienics Ltd. is pleased to announce the arrival of Roger Kanaris to the Company. Roger takes up his role as Operations Director from 03 March 2008.
Alan Wright, the Company's Managing Director, said that Hygienics Ltd. was experiencing a period of sustained growth. "We are delighted to welcome someone with Roger's experience and are sure that he can assist in our development during this exciting time".
Roger joins Hygienics Ltd following a lengthy period as Operations Director with Bioquell UK Ltd.

DISINFECTION PERFORMANCE SYMPOSIUM - 26/27 MARCH 2008
GRAVETYE MANOR, NR EAST GRINSTEAD, SUSSEX
Hygienics Ltd in conjunction with Gloster-Sante-Europe will be holding a Symposium on disinfection performance against a range of HCAIs within clinical environments. It will be held at Gravetye Manor in Sussex, an imposing 16th century hotel situated close to Gatwick airport. Eminent scientists from 5 European countries will be attending this event. From the United Kingdom these include Dr Tim Boswell, Head of Microbiology, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, and Dr Christine Bates, Consultant Microbiologist at Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield. Dr Jonathan Gawn from the Government Health and Safety Laboratory and Dr Katie Hardy from the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust will also be attending.
The company hope this will be the first of many similar high-profile events.

HYGIENICS LTD INTRODUCES STERICIL – THE NEW GENERATION OF DECONTAMINATION
The Company has recently developed its Stericil™ range of disinfectants. When combined with the Sterinis dry mist technology, Stericil™ produces one of the most effective decontamination procedures available to both the public and private sector. The Stericil™ components are fully validated to demonstrate germicidal effectiveness. Our range of anti-pathogenic disinfectants combine fungicidal, virucidal, bactericidal as well as selective sporicidal properties.
The unique Stericil™ Decontamination Process combines both manual and mechanical techniques.
The procedure involved is safe, speedy and effective making it suitable for use in a wide range of commercial establishments and environments.
The process has already been successfully trialled within hospitals, nursing homes, veterinary surgeries, hotels and catering areas.
